Fashion Design - Emma, Anna and Alice

Emma Eckstein, Freud's most famous female patient is the inspiration for this "mind bending" line.  Using varying skin tones to construct the outer layers, all garments hide twisting and intertwined bright charmeuse linings.  The outsider might get a "peek" of color depending on how the individual moves.  While we may all look similar from the outside, it's what's inside that distinguishes our color.
The Body Image and Eating Disorder epidemic served as inspiration for this Calvin Klein Spring Collection.  Amongst the trailblazers of thinness in American culture exists a hidden subculture with "support" forums of Anna wannabes.  This group of young girls striving to skip meals and count calories work to disappear into the Fashion Industry's most achievable rank, size zero.  The secret club members call themself "Anna," derived from the word Anorexia.  Soft charmeuse, organza, crepe and wool layer together in every shade of bone.
Ever feel like you just can't get through to the other side?  Entering through the looking glass, we are taken through the sometimes childlike and sometimes exotic adventures of Alice's adventures.  Sometimes, thing's are not always what they seem.  This collection embodies a playfulness paired with the deep gemstones of Fall comfort.
