Digital Photography has helped me improve my photographs throughout this course. Photography showed me how to organize my pictures in Google Drive and how to edit my pictures in Photopea. I was able to understand and learn the different topics/lessons of photography. Some techniques I learned was placing your phone or camera in a good angle, looking more deep into the subject you're about to shoot, making sure there is enough light, and using curves. I also learned how to use the exposure variables. For example, the image I published named "Palm Trees" was taken in a windy afternoon. I had to move my phone more up to get a good angle and checked in Photopea using curves, if my picture was correctly exposed. Curves is a tool that helps you see if your images are underexposed, overexposed or correctly exposed.

The elements of art have helped me design better compositions because it showed me that there's more to photography and what I should look for while taking a picture. The principles of design have helped me by going more deep into capturing images and telling me that some principles of design are similar. For example, the image I published named "dinner table" has both elements of art and principles of design. The element in that picture is shape and texture. The principle I used was emphasis.
