I took an introductory printmaking class covering four basic processes (woodblock, intaglio, lithography, & screen) in the early morning during the winter.  This is an aquatint intaglio print.  Aquatint uses the application of acid to make the marks in the metal plate, creating a tonal effect.  I chose classic horror as my subject because I was staying up late watching these black and white films and had trouble waking up for this class in the morning.  The black and white film still translated nicely to the tonal quality of this type of work.
