The challenge of designing the rim was to make a one-piece single mold without losing the dynamic esthetics. All surfaces are connected, taking into account a minimum of a 4 degree draft.
The design got selected for the Suzuki Misano concept, where it actually has been thermo molded and produced on the 1:1 clay model.
