Purpose:  The project was to create a book about anything as long as it had pictures, text, and was interesting. This book has illustrations on architecture around the world. The interesting point in it was that it had a light in the spine that you could turn on. The idea was that when standing up the light would shine through the vellum paper but be blocked out where there was ink. 

 

Credits:  Below is my final project for Artists Books class, consisting of a light up book. This project was a partner project and was created with Kesha Shana for the Artists' Books class taught by Patrick Lindhardt at Ringling College of Art + Design, Spring 2013.
