I wanted my shard to be a part of my design, so I designed a thin box based on its shape to hold it as the wider surface facing up. The shard texture also is similar to the butterfly. I designed some butterflies on the different scales all sitting around one side of the ring next to the shard, to celebrate the finger. The ring shape and scale are based on my finger's shape and scale.
