Dream in Paris
There were certain aspects of the initial data that predefined the final look of the project. Above all, the apartment is located in Rybalsky residential neighborhood which stretches along the river bank and is characterized by its European architecture.
Secondly, the owner is a young modern girl passionate about architecture and IT. She’s a minimalist not devoid of romanticism.
On top of that, utmost functionality seems to be the imperative of our time. At the same time, it was necessary to keep the airy feeling of the space and reinvent classic and Scandinavian interiors.
The apartment is zoned in a classic manner: there’re shared and private areas. The kitchen-diner has a projector, sofa, and round table – everything you need for cooking, hosting parties, and even working at the computer occasionally.
The rest area is represented by a spacious bedroom with a dressing room separated by glass partitions. There is also a private bathroom with a shower and, naturally, a bathtub all girls love)
Natural and soothing colors are compensated with the most diverse textures: plaster, wood, stucco, and even goose down)
A painting of the Ukrainian designer Olga Fradina was used in the project along with a vase by the Ukrainian ceramic brand Dotork Ceramics. Specially for the project, I painted a reproduction of “Diving” by the famous Japanese artist Onchi Kôshirô.
