School Project
A revamped Tracetogether Token design to tackle the real world issue during the COVID-19 pandemic period. The Tracetogether Token's problem was a lack of appealing designs and features to entice users to bring them out with them. Thus, potentially affect the tracing efforts by our Singapore's government.
Solution
1. Curvature Body
It makes the whole product seems friendly, engaging and stylish.
2. Colors
These colors were chosen as it gave off a classy and modern vibe which is appealing to a wide range of audiences.
3. Additional Features
- When top button is pressed, the display screen will shows the user’ IC barcode. This barcode can be scanned for safe entry. Making the token more usable and convenient for the users.
- When the clip is pushed to first half of the clip, Ez-link feature will be on. The LED display will indicate if that feature is on and working. This features allows the user to use the token to tap into buses and MRT.
The LED Display will display in Red, Yellow, Green to indicate the amount money that their Ez-link have.
- When the clip is pulled, it unlocks a coin compartment. It allows users to store their coins and small items in it.
With such features, the tracing feature of the token will be still working. User are unable to disable that feature.
