Illinois Lottery - iPad Advertisements
Role: Art Director, Motion Designer

For the 2012 NFL season, the Illinois Lottery purchased sole sponsorship of the Chicago Tribune’s weekly Bears iPad publication. The sponsorship allowed us to explore the Mag+ platform that the app is built on, which allows some pretty cool interactivity. My role (apart form being an obsessive Bears fan) was to explore the possibilities with the sponsorship. The Illinois Lottery’s new tagline is “Anything’s Possible, ” and we capitalized on the optimism of a new season. As the season went along we created fun an engaging ads for their product lineup, as well as creating contextual brand ads that highlighted unique matchups and stats from each game.

Client: Illinois Lottery
Year: 2012
With new issues being pushed twice a week, we created a simple template to take advantage of team rivalries, matchups, and player performances.
By swiping up on this ad, you'll open the birthday present to reveal the instant ticket art and a shower of confetti.
Lottery players are gamers in nature. We created ads to celebrate games - whether it is the Lottery or fantasy football.
Swiping up and down on this ad reveals multiple quote bubbles, tying into the Lucky Day Lotto campaign that little victories in your day might be a sign to play today.
The Anything's Possible brand campaign celebrates optimism, and look no further than sports fans to embrace that.
