Museo d'Arte Mendrisio
Founded in 1982, the Art Museum of Mendrisio, witch is related to its area by focusing on artits from Ticino and North Italy, "organises exhibitions dedicated to the great 20th century masters", suche as
"Georges Braque, Alberto Giacometti, Eduardo Chillida, Mark Tobey, Sam Francis, Jean Arp, Julius Bissier, Ben Nicholson, Meret Oppenheim, Fritz Wotruba, Walter Kurt Wiemken and Renato Birolli,
with attention always focused on hitherto unexplored aspects and little-known materials used in their work".
Situated within the walls of a former monastery, the Museum offered to its visitors, a white wall at the entrance.
Who didn't know the building, were offently asking if they were at the Art Museum.
So to welcome them better and to create a better sense of orientation, we decided to applicate directly on the wall the logo
of the museum and a a few signs: where to find the ticket office, the elevator, the cloakroom and the shop.
