Журнал разработан с целью показать жизнь лагерной смены в одном из пионерских лагерей, функционирующим при Советском Союзе.
Лагерь Солнечный Берег выбран как пример не спроста. Туда в детстве ездил проводить свои каникулы мой папа. В 1974 году он посетил его последний раз, а уже в 2020 году мне удалось побывать на территории лагеря вместе с ним. На данный момент лагерь не функционирует уже как 7 лет.
Контраст рассказов много отца о пионерской лагерной жизни в Советское время и состояние лагеря на сегодняшний день вызвало у меня вдохновение на создание этого журнала.
Журнал я просвещаю своему отцу и его детскому воспоминанию - пионерскому лагерю Солнечный Берег.
Arabat Holidays '74 Magazine
The magazine is designed to show the life of the camp shift in one of the pioneer camps, operating under the Soviet Union.
Solar Coast camp was chosen, as an example for a reason. My dad went there to spend his holidays as a child. In 1974, he visited camp for the last time and already in 2020 I managed to visit the camp territory with him. At this moment, the camp has not been functioning for 7 years.

The contrast of my dad's many stories about the pioneer camp life in Soviet times and the state of the camp today inspired me to create this magazine.
I dedicate the magazine to my dad and his childhood memory - the pioneer camp Solar Coast.
The project was created within the School of Visual Communication.
The layout and grid are repetitive and have consistent pattern across the pages.
The choice of font and color scheme was based on the fact that as accurately as possible convey the mood and atmosphere of the summer of those times.
