The brief was to quickly create a mockup of what an interactive (no page refreshes!) savings calculator could like like and demonstrate how this artifact could be used in different ways (on a home page, as a banner ad, without any chrome/branding).
Jonathan Lochhead was responsible for the visual design, while I designed the interactions and implemented the design in Adobe Flex (Flash). It was great to be able to work with such a talented artist in Jono - I'd highly recommend him (visit his site - http://designofficial.com/)
Main features:
Banner ad version, which links to a promotional page (see next screen)
Promotional page (linked to from the banner ad). Still using the same code base as the other versions, but with a different skin (mostly encoded in Flex CSS). We were able to demonstrate how a banner ad could pass data to different page so that the customer doesn't need to re-enter their savings goals.
