This was a final project for my Advertising Design class. We had to choose any project or make up our own product, and create a series of ads for it. I chose to work with the Sakura Micron Pens since it's an item I use everyday, whether it be for drawing or taking notes.
The concept behind this piece was to show the pen's advantages and capabilities via hand lettered words. The words are illustrated to look like the word in the composition, and they were all hand-lettered by me. The
"waterproof" ad was photographed after I poured actual water over the lettered word to further prove the pen's ability to be waterproof.
