When you capture a scene in the camera, you capture much beyond what you see. There's more to it if you give yourself the opportunity to scratch the surface layer. While looking at the scene through the photographic lens, you consciously document a scene because the performance of the public appeals to your aesthetic taste, if I may put it this way. But it isn't just an ordeal where you are the active agent designing a motif of your own. You have successfully stepped into an arena of transference. While you believe that you are the creator of this work, you are also being created in the process. The performance of the people draws your attention, and fuels your creative desire. They contribute to the ever evolving, dynamic and restless subjectivity in making. To put things in a perspective, I shall draw from the picture below. It is a man, a chatwala-bhaiyya (chaat vendor), going about his day . He is also a projection of my mood. The color blue is the main character of this story. It symbolizes the somber drama of my mind, causing me to  pensively weave a string of thoughts I had no idea of before. A photograph isn't just a photograph. It is more than a reflection and representation of any sorts. If you knew when you began your work what you would become at the end of it, would you dare to even venture?
