The Mondriaanhuis Amersfoort asked me to create a logo for the 150 years Mondriaan anniversary. They already had an image in mind, that image is partially an artwork I created for an earlier exhibition 25x25x25 (2019) in the same Mondriaanhuis. This artwork is a portrait in 3D of Piet Mondriaan, half as a young man, half as an older man. Later on, during the same exhibition I participated in an additional side- program with a lecture about finding the Mondriaan in me. For this lecture with the same name, M Stands 4, I created a logo featuring me creating the artwork as if it it was a huge portrait. This is the very logo that the Mondriaanhuis set their eyes on. Now I am proud to say that, with a little adjustment of course, it became the banner for the 150th anniversary!
