CSWP Practice Models

Captured here are renders of practice parts I have modelled in preparation for the Certified SolidWorks Professional Exam, the next level of SolidWorks certification after the Associate level. Some of these parts are from practice exams, and others from Modelling Madness.

Parts may appear visually similar to one another, but have had some dimensions altered. This was done to test the user's ability to perform parametric modelling. Later parts also had features added and/or removed to test the user's feature modification abilities. Accuracy and scoring is determined by the total mass of the final model.

As of June 16th, 2021, I am officially a Certified SolidWorks Professional.
SolidWize Practice Exam Parts
These parts are from a 2012 SolidWize practice exam for the CSWP. The first two parts from the top left are fairly similar with some parametric differences. The third part has a cut out slot and a vertical hole. The fourth and fifth parts from the bottom left have additional features and vary slightly if you look at the end of the left collar. Overall, I found this difficult to model correctly.

CSWP Sample Exam Part
These parts are from an official SolidWorks CSWP sample exam. Similar to the SolidWize practice, the first three parts are visually similar but vary parametrically. The last two parts have added features and again vary parametrically.

Phases 1-5 are detailed below. Left images show the front isometric view while right images show the rear isometric view. I found these parts easier to model after completing the first sample exam and practicing more modelling madness parts.
