Snow mountain
Located in Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang City,
Yunnan Province, it is the southernmost snow mountain in China and a famous mountain in the southern section of Shaluli Mountain in the Hengduan Mountains.

The mountain is mainly composed of carbonate rocks of the Devonian and Carboniferous, with a thickness of more than 3,000 meters, part of which has been metamorphosed into marble, and the main peak fan steep is composed of the Carboniferous Yulong limestone.
There are interbeds of Carboniferous and Permian basalt and limestone in the southern part of the mountain.
On the foothills of the Snow Mountain, there are the Baishui River and the Heishui River.
One of the river beds is developed in lime layers, and the other is developed in basalt.
The river bottom of the former is all white gravel, and the water quality is clear; the latter is just the opposite, gravel is black and yellow. Two rivers, one white and one black, form a special landscape.
