I had trouble deciding what location to feature in my magazine design project until
I found out that Heidelberg, Germany, in addition to the staple tourist attractions,
has a museum dedicated to fountain pens, which are my favorite writing implements.
To give the magazine a modern aesthetic, I picked out a sleek sans-serif for the headings, then paired it with a sophisticated and legible serif for the body text.
This project is strictly a demonstration of my typography and magazine layout;
all images and articles were gathered for educational use only.
Here's a closer look at the spreads.
