Heroes On Horseback is a non-profit program that uses equine assisted therapy to aid those with mental, emotional, as well as, physical "disablities." With this documentary, I wanted to explore how this program helps to get rid of the stigmatism that comes a long with the word "disabled." Filming the program for seven weeks, I learned so much from appreciating the simple things and being grateful for the life we live to finding joy in the differences that we all share. To some extent, we are all "disabled," it's how we overcome those challenges that truly matters.
