French Classic pastry

As I live in France, one of my favorite thing here is the French pastries. Everybody know Macaron, so I want to illustrate some French classic pastry that not everyone knows. Plus they look super adorable!
Tarte aux fraises is strawberry tart, very straightforward, fresh strawberry laying in custard on a buttery tart crust, I believe every country has their own version of strawberry tart.
Mont blanc is not everywhere in France, but it's very classic, and surprisingly, it's more popular in Japan, while actually it was invented in Italy. This is a dessert of sweetened chestnut purée in the form of vermicelli, topped with whipped cream. Actually I've never tried, but the shapes and colour are fascinating!
Paris Brest is made of choux pastry(like puff) and a praline flavoured cream, which is made with nuts. It's actually a donut shaped dessert looking from the top. I add some almond slices on the top, making it wedding look-like.
Opéra is made with layers of almond sponge cake soaked in coffee syrup, layered with ganache and coffee French buttercream, and covered in a chocolate glaze. It's vert fancy from the outlook, and normally served in small piece like my illustration.
Well here comes my favorite! Saint-Honoré! it's like a pyramid built with caramel glazed cream puff and extra whipping cream, it makes my mouth watering just by typing these words.
Drawing food is my passion, and also a way to record my life, living in France giving me lots of inspiration, my Chinese background also generate me lots of ideas. I love the combination of my multicultural life.
