This is the result of a brief set during the first year of my [BA] Advertising design degree course.
This brief was a conclusion to all the cultural events that had been linked with the 2012 Olympics, Film 4 broadcast a series of 'classic' British films over the 20th December 2012 through to the 1st January 2013.
My task was to develop a creative advertising campaign that effectively and appropriately communicates the launch of the British film season to regular and new audiences of Film 4.
My Answer to this brief was to create a series of Collectable cards that would coincide with the Films that were broadcasting over the 'British film season'. On these cards I designed a stylized representation of objects that would appear in a particular film in the run. I then accompanied the images with a memorable quote from the film. I wanted them to be a sort of an obscure reference to the film they represent. The cards could then be used for a guessing game in which people could guess what card represents which film.
