For my prints, I experimented with printing on different types of paper - specifically glossy and matt. I found my images looked best on the matt paper as the gloss gave the blacks and greys a brownish/sepia tint.
Furthermore, after researching fine art photography and prints, I discovered a common paper type used for fine-art prints is rag paper. This is because rag paper is more durable and emulates the texture of an original piece of work, making it look more professional.
I printed my most successful images onto A4 rag paper as I only had 10 sheets so had to carefully select my images. I found this kept the texture of the image really well and gave it a painting like appearance. I decided to frame the images so they looked more finished as outcomes.
