Commissioned by the leader of the management team of Meet, I was commissioned to do this logo for Meet, a speed dating mobile application, that is under the wing of Syntio Inc.
Stage 1: Sketches and concept work - I was inspired by romantic movies, so the team decided to move along with more of an iconographic approach.
Stage 2: Color Research- I sought out an inspiration from dating apps for color theory. I gave the team more variations with stroke weight and differences in tables design with modern/traditional approaches. So I pitched the gradient choices and they want a redesign of the logo.
Stage 3: Redesigning- I decided to illustrate some of concept sketches to pitch to the team. So I decided to go with the minimalistic approach and the team loved it. So since they wanted it in a casual bar setting, I pitched the final logo as a neon logo and they loved it.
