We created this short stop-motion film for For Bert & Vief's Google Translate Hits - With the flame in the Pipe. A by google translated version of a Dutch classic hit from Henk Wijngaard - 'Met de vlam in de pijp'.
We bought a miniature truck and modeled a surrounding set around it. Green pastures and a mountain in the back. A reference to the Brenner Pass from the original song.
We edited Bert & Viefs green screen recordings into the truck's cabin, and got them looking like real truckers, and added some proper flames to it!
