Sendo o Gerês um puzzle em que toda a mais pequena peça é imprescindível, o meu desafio era representá-lo com uma perspetiva holística, tentando não excluir nenhuma parte.

Gerês is a puzzle where even the smallest piece is important, so the challenge was to represent this universe without excluding any part of it.
Foco-me então naquilo que a região tem de mais característico e singular:
a comunhão entre Homem e Natureza.
So I focus on the most singular characteristic of this region:
the communion between Man and Nature.

Estes funcionam como alicerces da comunidade, sendo a folha um dos elementos base da natureza é também ela que nos alimenta com a energia necessária para as nossas mãos conseguirem sentir o carinho de um amigo, a ternura do pêlo do nosso animal de estimação e a satisfação do trabalho.

These work as the foundation of the community, the leaf is the basic element of nature and it feed us with the energy needed to feel the touch of a friend, the fur of our pet or the satisfaction of labor.
O Gerês é este ciclo, é a mão e folha basilares, é todo o pequeno pormenor que contribui para a criação desta harmonia vital.
Gerês is this cycle, the hand and leaf, every little detail that contributes to the creation of this unique and vital harmony.
