In one of my classes, I was challenged to pick a brief and create a brand identity based on the company's specific requirements. I chose CatCare, a cats only animal shelter in Chicago, IL and created a logo, brand elements, collateral, and an identity package for them. I made my brand identity with their target audience (college student volunteers and young families) in mind and aimed to make them stand out among other shelters in the Chicago area. CatCare specifically asked that their brand would be presentable in greyscale, given that they would be printing many materials in black and white.
