Cargo is an independent Hindi language sci-fi film steeped in Indian mythology and culture. In the far-flung future of this parallel world, when inhabitants of earth pass away they are transported as 'Cargos" to a spaceship, Pushpak 634A orbiting the earth. The Cargos are proceeded or rather reincarnated by Rakshasas (modern-day demons from Indian mythology and lore)
The crew heals the departed, wipes their memories, and then sends them back to earth to be born again. The film explores the passage of time and the crews interactions with the recently departed in an offbeat yet heartwarming adventure.
