SAVOUR
Inspired by the memphis art movement and chef Massimo Bottura, Savour is a single bite taste set of ceramic dinnerware designed for high end dining.
Meant to question and innovate current dining traditions on how one is supposed to appreciate food, Savour offers the opportunity to dine with a plate that is different and helps to better appreciate the food visually due to its shape allowing for the food to be brought up closer to the eyes.
When placed on a drying rack, Savour's extrusions prevent the product from rolling away.
Mass manufactured through the process of slip casting in a plaster of paris mould.
Out of mould compared with original 3D printed positive.
End product from being in the kiln and applied with white glaze. Finish could be improved by utilizing an air brush to apply the glaze, but conceptually the design is possible to produce.
