A series of illustrations paying homage to the women revolutionaries of Bengal during India's fight for freedom. 


At only age 14, Suniti Choudhury, along with Santi Ghose assassinated a British bureaucrat and courageously served 7 years in prison.

Kalpana Datta made bombs, deployed guerrilla warfare, served as a political prisoner and went underground for many years as part of her mission to see an independent India. 

Pritilata Waddedar led one of the Chittagong revolts dressed as a Punjabi male. On being wounded, she chose to swallow potassium cyanide pills and evade arrest. She was only 21.
