Colors
Since the majority of the customers will be women and the events are unstressed gatherings with friends I wanted to have cozy but still modern colors. So I chose a warm grey tone for the basic elements, a red as brand color and sky blue as accent where needed.
UI Elements
The main goal of the UI was to keep it clean and simple, but not to go completly flat. The main inspiration came from cooking and fashion magazines. There are some that have really nice layouts and decorations. The style is to use shapes with plain colors or gradients and work a lot with photos and typography to emphasize the content.
