By studying its discourses and analyzing their consequences, we hoped to open some space for critical thinking that would offer understanding and integration instead of mechanisms of exclusion and separation."

The basis for the design was a glitch — distortion and shift that occurs in schizophrenic people. Glitch as a bearer of the whole identity and a symbol for a shift in perception and loss of touch with reality, combined with modern and sans serif typography and a black background, is applied to every part of promotional materials, from posters and program booklets to social media visuals. Several variants of glitch have been made, but three have been taken as the basis of the identity, while others appear as posts on social media sites, such as Instagram.
"Discourses of schizophrenia" is the first Croatian interdisciplinary congress on schizophrenia entirely organized by the students of various faculties (Medicine, Psychology, Dramatic Arts, Design, Science & Math). It was held in Zagreb in March 2020.
