For years I've noticed this beautiful cherry tree in the cemetery while riding by on the bus yet have never taken the time to photograph it while in bloom. This tree is so ephemeral, lasting only a few days at peak and the weather seldom cooperates, this day the light was constantly changing. The angel that lives below the tree has fallen and the tree seems to lovingly protect it with magenta branches.

The graceful arcs and brilliant colors are satisfying to my aesthetic, it brings me peace.
