HCV Testing Live Brief

Live brief to encourage Hep C testing

Hepatitis C is a liver disease caused by the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). The virus can cause both acute and chronic hepatitis, ranging in severity from a mild illness lasting a few weeks to a serious, lifelong illness. People with chronic Hep C can often have no symptoms and don’t feel sick. When symptoms appear, they often are a sign of advanced liver disease. There is no vaccine for Hepatitis C. Getting tested for Hep C is important because treatments can cure most people in 8-12 weeks. Learn more about Hepatitis C here and find a testing location near you

The Challenge
In order to make Hep C history, patients need to know they have it. Develop ideas to encourage testing amongst the general public for Hep C that leverage the new world, prioritization of health and normalization of testing.

Our Response
We created an in-depth case study video highlighting important statistics about Hep C and the reasoning behind our campaign strategies. Featured within our case study video is our experiential marketing and social media campaign plan that sets out to encourage our audience to get tested for Hep C.
