As I did my research and sketches for this nonfiction children's book, I was amazed at the history of the car safety industry. I was constantly thinking about how I could match the humor of Jennifer's text! I came up with fun illustrations that put "Crash" in some very funny, yet unfortunate, situations. Here's to the future of safe driving and crash-test dummies.
