【工場で働く職人の智恵と工夫を生活のヒントにする】
たくさんの材料、機械、製品、そして作り手たち。工場の中は、自分たちの道具や機械をより効率的に、より使いやすくにする為の工夫で溢れています。その様子はまさに「クリエイティブな空間」そのものでした。「解体して１つにまとめて壁に掛けておく」、「必要なもの端材を再利用して作る」といった工夫は家具工房ならではのもの。狭い空間の中で、いつでもすぐに探し出して作業可能にし、なおかつ使用しない時でも邪魔にならないという画期的な思想です。そんな職人の間で脈々と受け継がれてきた知恵と工夫のエッセンスをデザインに落とし込み、日常生活に活かせば、普段の暮らしをより賢く、豊かにすることができるのではないでしょうか。この「マニファクチェア」は、そんな思想から生まれた組立式スツール。コンパクト性、持ち運び性に優れた、“いつでもそこにある"家具です。
【Learn ideas for our lifestyle from the craftsmanship at manufacture】
There are a lot of materials, machines, products and people at manufacture. And there also are so many clever devices and ideas to make their working more useful at the workshop. It comes to be total creative space. Some devices like -Knockdown and hang on the wall-, -create anything using the end materials- are unique and common ideas there. This is an epoch-making ideology at narrow space -they can find something easily, and these never be obstacle when not in use-. The goal of this project is using great ideas and withdoms of craftsman, and making design for our lifestyle more clever. ''Manufact-chair'' is a wall-hanging and knockdown stool made from ideologies at manufacture.
