Ligatures for RF Rostin

Rostin is a modern monospaced typeface made by the Type foundry Russian Fonts.
These experimental ligatures have been for the Rostin Regular created.

On a historical basis and with the help of deconstruction, new forms of ligatures have been created — strange, controversial, eye-catching and unique.

The object of the project is to enrich tools of information-transferring. Ligatures as an additional tool should support the visual component of the text, give it a certain freshness and thereby make it overall more visible, original and modern. The area of application extends here in the most diverse areas of design and advertising, as well as in trade or in social areas. A large number of words can take on new forms and thus gain new life and meaning.

This is a font specimen with ligatures in focus. 142 ligatures were created for Latin and Cyrillic.
