A 20 page publication created with the purpose on highlighting specific aspects and locations around the South Eastern region of Virginia. Being that this was the first issue of this publication, much of it was focused on defining what the area is and what it is all about. Later issues following this one would then focus more on different things for locals to do and special things happening around the region.
A second theme of this particular issue was exploration, getting to know your home town, and the people that you share it with.
This project was one that took a lot of work in an area and time that came with lots of uncertainty. Half way working on this publication, it was on a completely different topic/subject. When Covid happened and stay at home orders were put in place, I could no longer obtain the images and research needed so I had to change this up and adapt to where I was at. This project ended up being one that I'm super proud of as a result.
