Tri-O is a MIDI controller based on uncertainty. Using a simple Cartesian geometry system, it 
modulates input control values and turns them into unpredictable data flows. The user controls the 
respective speeds of each wheel, and the motion of the wheels creates a changing triangle. Tri-O 
continuously outputs the area and the side lengths of the triangle as 4 separate MIDI control-change 
signals, which can be assigned to any parameters in your synthesizer or DAW system. Everything 
happening is visible and simple. It runs on an Arduino and three sets of motors. Additional range-setting 
knobs enable the user to narrow or widen each signal's value range independently. Tri-O is excellent in 
creating life-like effects in audio, video and lighting systems.
