I stumbled upon this series of pics I did while in transit at Dubai airport in 2012.
I wanted to share those now as we all feel a bit travel-sick in these Covid times.
I felt it was good to remember when we used to travel the world freely. Dubai airport at that time looked like the Star Wars bar to me, with people from every parts of the world crossing, each of them with a different agenda: business, tourism, pilgrimage, exile... I was trying to guess which country each person was from.

I remember how amazed I was at seeing that diversity.
It felt good to be part of it as well!
