"The Sinks"
Raging Rapids
Great Smoky Mountains National Park, East Tennessee
After a few days of heavy rain here in the Smoky Mountains, the Little River and the popular waterfall called The Sinks is deep and raging. It's as pretty as it is powerful and certainly gets my respect. I took videos from three different angles to show a complete picture of this beautiful place.
We enjoyed standing there, just taking it all in; the sights, the sounds and the mist on our skin. I love rainy days like this, especially in the mountains, everything's so lush and green. The river is not normally this deep and wild.
