POSTER AND SOCIAL MEDIA PROJECT
For this project, our class was instructed to create an event in which we create a poster and three social media images to produce awareness for the upcoming event. I chose to create imaging for an outdoor worship night because there have been a few that I had gone to this year and they were fantastic. I thought of incorporating a cross into the background due to the fact that it is a Christian worship night and the image of a cross over the entirety of the sky would bring greater awareness to the idea that it is a night about the worship of Christ. The idea for the layout of the three social media slides came from the idea of an album cover-esque look while still conveying the information that it needed to. I incorporated the pattern used for the cross for the background of the social media slides and put the most important information in large bold text.
