Ghandour 666 – The Untold History of Lebanon

Gandour, a renowned Lebanese company known for its quality confectionaries, has marked its place in Lebanon’s history and culture. The 666 biscuits, which are commonly eaten with tea, coffee, or Raha,  are the most famous among Gandour’s products. However, they're packed in a plain and unappealing package. Therefore, I decided to redesign the 666 biscuit pack to enhance its aesthetic as well as teach consumers a bit about our local unrecognized heroes. I named this special edition “The Untold History of Lebanon” to highlight my concept of appreciating our exceptional talents that are not always recognized by the Lebanese public such as the writer Emily Nasrallah, the activist Danny Thomas and the now world-renowned female director Nadine Labaki.
Visually, I created a modern, visually appealing, colorful, and vibrant pattern of geometric shapes with integrated silhouettes of Lebanese historical monuments and objects that spark a sense of nostalgia and pride in every Lebanese person. On the back, I added a silhouette illustration of the figure being honored. Inside the box, each consumer will receive a bookmark with the figure silhouette illustration and information about his/her achievements.
Structurally, I created a box that includes 2 packs of Gandour 666 Biscuits as a snack on the go or for the office.
