This editorial project was realised for Politecnico di Milano as an historical monographic research booklet for the lecture of History of Visual Communications.
This work is about the history of mapmaking and its evolution during the XX century.
This project analyses a wide range of historical case studies in order to show how the process of mapmaking changed and evolved during the last century.
The research was done by using parts of original maps, books and magazines taken from different digital archives, and it's meant to create a visual journey across different types of maps with different purposes.
