Our solution is the CycleMate. A modular bicycle design that uses both kinetic and solar power. Enabling a community through a sustainable mode of transportation. The attached Junior buddy (https://solarbuddy.org/about/our-innovations) allows for around the clock sustainable transportation within the communities and with other surrounding communities. CycleMate provides a safe (and fun!) solution that will open doors for children living in rural areas across Australia.
Education is at the core of our solution. Raising awareness around the issue of Solar Poverty to children in urban areas to then educate children in rural areas valuable life skills all whilst enabling the community and opening new education opportunities for these children. Expert citizens creating citizen experts = sustainability and growth opportunities!
