A small exercise to approach intervention art by means of textiles mediums within the perimeters of my campus in which I got inspired on the artwork of the Artists Shane Waltener and Abigail Doan.
I ended up working with the small, old and cracked space on the base of a door frame. Initially, the space aroused my interest in the symbiotic similarity of a cave and to me, it resembled to the Street of Façades in Petra, Jordan.
I worked purely with sewing thread to create connections between points in the cracks and some admittedly placed in order to explore a relationship between the unnoticed vacuity and the interaction with it.
