After the Sacai custom worked so well and looking at the amount of positive responses, I thought it was time I try the Jordan 1 pattern on the Converse shoe, and just for the sake of a change I threw in the Travis inverted swoosh.

This was the first time I used brocade for a project. I was so attracted by the design, the varying reflectivity in light and the saturation of the colours, I HAD to pick them up and use them.

Since now the brocade fabrics are expensive, I used a torn shopping bag as the sample material to work out how the patterns work and test if my construction idea was suitable and could be improved.
