maat notebook and poster
Project selected for the maat open brief - poster and notebook contest shortlist. The pixel is the metaphor for the contribution of people, appealing to action, creation, discussion. I tried to give equal importance to the 3 components of the museum - art, architecture and technology - highlighting their coexistence and complementarity. For each component it was given a colour. Orange to art, which makes us imagine. Green to architecture, which represents nature and serenity. Blue, associated with dreams, reach, creation. Orange is complementary to blue. Green is the transitory colour of these 2 colours. In the notebook, the pixels appear scattered, representing a place to record thoughts, drawings, the initial phase of the creative and reflective process. On the poster the process of creation is represented.
Projeto selecionado para shortlist do concurso brief aberto maat - cartaz e caderno. O pixel é a metáfora para o contributo das pessoas, apelando à ação, à criação, à discussão. Procurou-se dar igual importância às 3 componentes do museu - arte, arquitetura e tecnologia - realçando a coexistência e complementaridade. Para cada componente foi atribuída uma cor. Laranja à arte, que nos faz imaginar. Verde à arquitetura, que representa a natureza e a serenidade. Azul, associado ao sonho, ao alcance, à criação. Laranja é complementar do azul. Verde é cor transitória destas 2 cores. No caderno, os pixeis aparecem dispersos, representando um meio para registar pensamentos, desenhos, a fase inicial do processo criativo e reflexivo. No cartaz está representado o processo de criação.
