Logo, Branding and Materials for Realtor Josh Jackson
Josh is a realtor in Boulder, Colorado. When we started working together, he'd just joined LIV Sotheby's International Realty agency, and was looking to get started with a stand-out brand for himself that would work alongside the LIV brand. As such, it was a requirement that the brands work well together, and the logos be able to be used somewhat alongside one another, while also adhering to LIV's brand guidelines.

With Josh's input, as well as his marketing advisor Stephanie Cenedella, I created a logo based on a monogram that would represent Josh's sophisticated taste in style, love for the natural beauty, skies, and water features of Colorado, and his kind and welcoming nature. Not to mention his business confidence, with an extensive background in corporate sales. So, we needed to come up with something that would look sophisticated and compliment the start aesthetic of the LIV Sotheby's International Realty brand, while conveying a sense of friendly competency.
Competitor Research
For this project, I conducted a competitive analysis, looking over all of Josh Jackson's competition, and analyzing the aesthetics of the realty market in Boulder and surrounding areas.

As a result of this research, we selected a fairly bright classic blue color as the main staple to stand out from competitors, and to tie in with Josh's strong love of water and connection to sense of place here in Colorado. We were also mindful about using a classic monogram, and so I put a twist on the monogram idea by turning the second J (for Josh Jackson) into the arch of a doorway, which stands ajar, welcoming Josh's clients.
Digital Assets
A variety of digital assets were required for Josh to launch his brand. We selected the most important assets to start with, which included social media banners for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Youtube, profile images, icons for various uses, and more.
Printed Assets
The full printed assets for this project included a set of 5 seasonally-themed notecards featuring images from the Boulder area, which came with custom-designed branded envelopes, as well as branded envelopes for mailing folders full of paperwork and housing information, which Josh somewhat regularly mails to his clients. We also created letterhead for him, which he could have printed or use at home via a Word template.

Seasonally Themed Notecards
This set of five notecards was designed to showcase the nature that brought Josh to Colorado, and which drives his passion for helping people buy and sell homes in the Boulder area. He especially loves fall, and that's a busier time of year for him, so we designed two fall-themed cards.
For spring, I searched high and low for the perfect photograph to showcase the tulips on Pearl Street, one of Josh's favorite parts of Spring in Boulder, and an iconic display that makes Pearl Street such a great attraction at that time of year. The Daily Camera gave us special permission to use this photograph for this card.
For summer, we wanted to showcase the flatirons, but in a different context than they're often shown - as a backdrop to all of the fantastic summer recreation available in the area.
Because Fall is such an important and special season to Josh, due to the changing colors of the aspens in the mountains, and also because it's a busy time of year for Josh's real estate sales, we decided to create two different cards for fall.

The second image shows the second fall card, as well as what the inside design for the notcards looks like.
For winter, what is better than to showcase the iconic Flatiron mountains in all of their majestic glory? The somewhat less common angle of this shot combined with the snow made for a captivating image for the fall card in the series.
