Dibe is a handcrafted espadilles and accessoriesĀ brand from Valencia, in which all the products are lovingly hand made and with ecological materials, such as esparto for footwear or seashells for costumeĀ jewelry.
The spirit of the firm resides in the connection with the Valencian tradition, artisan processes and nature, but from a modern and current perspective, characteristics that were not reflected by its previous brand image. InĀ addition, Dibe sells his espadrilles in select fashion stores throughout the city where theyĀ occupy the windows and thatās why they needed to stand out. For these reasons, and celebrating its tenth anniversary, we understood that a total change in its visual identity and communication was necessary.
To create Dibeās new symbol, I was inspired by the shape of the wicker grid, one of the most common materials in its espardilles, and the star of Bethlehem, the founderās name. The new brand identifies all the values that representsĀ the firmĀ and places it in a new position from where to grow, while continuing to transmit security, simplicity and elegance.
In addition, a new online store was designed with all theirĀ espadrillesĀ available, withĀ which to adapt to the new needs of clients: dibealpargatas.com

Dibe es una marca de alpargatas y complementos artesanales de Valencia, en la que todos los productos estaĢn hechos a mano con mucho carinĢo y fabricados con materiales ecoloĢgicos, como el esparto para el calzado o las conchas de mar para la bisuteriĢa.
El espiĢritu de la firma reside en la conexioĢn con la tradicioĢn valenciana, los procesos artesanales y la naturaleza, pero desde una visiĆ³n moderna y actual,Ā aspectos que no eran reflejados por su imagen de marca anterior.Ā Dibe tambiĆ©nĀ vende sus alpargatas en selectas tiendas de moda de toda la ciudad en las que ocupa los escaparates y por lo tanto necesitaba destacar. Por estos motivos, y aprovechando su dĆ©cimo aniversario,Ā comprendimos que era necesario un cambio total en su identidad visual y comunicaciĆ³n de marca.
Para construir el sĆmbolo de Dibe me inspirĆ© en la forma de la rejilla de mimbre, uno de los materiales con los que crea sus alpargatas, y la estrella de BelĆ©n, nombre de la fundadora. En laĀ nueva imagen de marca se identifican todos los valores que representan aĀ DibeĀ y la coloca en una nueva posiciĆ³n desde donde poder crecer, a la vez que seguir transmitiendo seguridad, sencillez y elegancia.
