"Giant kids throw themselves into the bountiful 12th district of Paris, which is also my own neighbourhood, to create a new environment in their image.
I worked on this mural - 7,80 m length and 3 m high - a couple of weeks ago.
It is located in a former school near Bercy, now dedicated to local associations, where kids gather to participate in multiple activities.

Once again, I am honouring this amazing city, which I have the privilege to be also mine. Paris is a city I call home for the past 18 years now. This is also a tribute to the future generations. The youth playing with their surroundings, are imagining, building and creating the town of tomorrow.

Taking care of the place we are living in is a crucial matter we should all feel responsible for.  Children don’t need us to educate them to feel this. We need to listen to them and give them the opportunity to keep the purity of their hearts. Kids know what is right and natural, which is not always our case as adults shaped by what is called education…
Our world is rich and complex, in perpetual evolution, raising many questions and concerns about the way we live in it, how we feed ourselves, the consumption choices we make… These kids look at their environment with pure eyes, they take care of what surrounds them with love and enthusiasm and create a benevolent and luxuriant city.

Everything comes from the little things we do every day. And perhaps in this way, we will prepare a more reassuring and welcoming future for the future generations.
With Nathalie Lapicorey, my partner in work/life, we have at heart the respect of our environment, as human beings of course, but also as parents for the future of our daughter. Every day we try to learn from eminent people - to name a few, we feel a deep gratitude for Catherine Gueguen, Céline Alvarez, Michel Odent, Pierre Rabhi and so many others for their generosity, their research and sharing - to inspire and guide our daughter, although we learn much more from her than anything we can give her.

I am deeply grateful to - Mairie of Paris 12, Jeanne Dallot, Association Handinamik, Le Nid de Bercy - who offered me their trust and support. This project could not have seen the light of day without their precious help and commitment.
A special shout out to Nathalie Lapicorey, my wholehearted teammate for the hard work and all the pics, I couldn’t have made it without her."
